DOL publishes final rule for H-2A program
The Department of Labor (DOL) Wage and Hour Division implemented changes to the H-2A non-immigrant temporary workers program effective March 15, 2010.
All program users are now required to file their applications under the new regulations and comply with applicable program requirements including the posting of an H-2A poster where employees can readily see it.
This rule will strengthen protections for both U.S. and foreign workers and ensure the integrity of the H-2A program.

Employers that could be impacted include:
The new poster is available at: www.dol.gov/whd/posters/pdf/ WHD1491Eng_H2A.pdf. A Spanish version is also available.
