It’s AFTER HOURS and you have an injured employee, but that doesn’t mean the care of that employee has to change from the care you have come to expect from OHS-COMPCARE!
In the Emergency Room, there are two charges. The average Emergency Department physician fee for initial evaluation and treatment of a workers’ compensation injury is $225. The average Emergency Department Hospital fee is $450. After the insurance company discounts, the average payment for an uncomplicated emergency room visit is $562.
We encourage you to take advantage of our AFTERS HOURS Services. Our After Hours Services are available at the Independence Clinical Facility at 17020 E. 40 Highway, until 10:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
When substance abuse testing is required, we also offer an AFTER HOURS PROGRAM. Contact the on-call collector through the answering service by dialing your clinical facility number.
